About Me

Engineer, Musician and Learner!

Hello! My name is Theo

I am a senior mechanical engineering student at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, a place known for bikes, beer and blue Subaru Crosstreks.

I have experience working in a variety of engineering jobs including tier 1 and 2 composite manufacturing as an intern and line engineer; tier 2 pharmaceutical manufacturing as a qualifications intern; and as a supply chain assistant purchasing raw materials and consumables.

I really enjoy using my hands and mind in tandem to solve problems and complete projects, be that at work or home.

What I do for Fun

I love writing and playing music. My brother (ft. to the right on piano) and I are constantly creating and playing. I grew up playing classical violin and singing in choirs until I found out about campfires - all of the sudden the guitar was a lot more appealing.

I also enjoy mountain biking and camping, especially out west with the beautiful vistas found around what feels like every turn in the road. There is not much better than a clear night and some good friends laughing around a fire.

Projects through the years!

VW Beetle Engine

As a high school senior I rebuilt a 1974 Air Cooled VW Beetle engine .

Note: The image pictured is not my engine as I don't currently have photos with me

Hobie 14 Catamaran

I rebuilt an early 1970s catamaran as a Sophomore in high school that my neighbor was throwing out.

It was a fun project!

Cocktail Class Racer

During a gap year between high school and college, I helped my uncle build a cocktail class "copper tie" boat. This helped spark my interest in composites such as fiberglass.
